Welcome to GaranVale Woolshed Italian Restaurant and Function Centre
About the GaranVale Woolshed: Built by Garnet Maddrell on his property ‘Garan Vale’ in 1936, today the building still retains part of its original appearance, even though, internally there are a whole new raft of changes and upgrades.
On entering, guests can still feel the friendly country atmosphere which is the result of the loving refurbishment and upgrading of the building and its facilities.
About the operation: Since October 1988, this rustic and privately located Woolshed Restaurant has offered a dining experience. Popular for all occasions with return groups from Canberra, Goulburn, Sydney and the South Coast for lunch and dinner, it now has new owners and been fully upgraded with a new kitchen, bar, and wood fired pizza oven Italian style, as well as continual landscaping and upgrading to give it that Italian flair.
Under new ownership by Peter Tilocca, the GaranVale Woodshed has become an Italian Restaurant and Function Centre, making the location an ideal place to hold weddings, parties and a whole raft of other functions. Ideal for a full wedding, including afterparties, theres lots of places for photographers to make use of the old historical farm machinery, and memorbilia available. There’s now an external wedding arch next to the lake, with extended parking for buses, as well as cars.
Fully licensed the woolshed is open for dinners from Wednesdays (traditionally pizza night and takeaways) through to Saturday night, and over the summer periods possible Sunday functions.
For a classical Italian style dinner come on in and enjoy the Tilocca family experience.
